Life Cycle Physio News, July 2018

The Life Cycle Physiotherapy logo

It’s hard to believe it’s been 4 months since I started Life Cycle Physiotherapy. Time flies!

In the past 4 months, I have met many wonderful patients, and I am lucky enough to be working alongside some fabulous doctors, colleagues and support staff.

This first newsletter is to inform and update you on the services I am offering and where you can find me.

In Kent Town, I am working in rooms with the fabulous team from Advanced Gynaecological Surgery Centre (AGSC). This is the perfect place to see me for any pelvic floor related problems. This includes:

  • Incontinence
  • Pelvic organ prolapse
  • Fitting of support pessaries
  • Pelvic pain problems, including painful intercourse.

At 92 Carrington St, in the city, I am lucky enough to use the rooms and the wonderful gym space set up by Jess from Align Health Solutions. As well as being able to treat pelvic floor related problems here, I can also offer treatment for a broader range of conditions, including:

  • Joint and muscular aches and pains for women at all stages of life
  • Pregnancy-related back and pelvic girdle pain
  • Exercise advice and 1:1 sessions for women
  • Pregnancy and Mums & Bubs Pilates classes

Finally, after juggling different locations, I have decided I am not able to continue offering services at Henley Beach. This has been a difficult decision, and I am sorry to any clients who may be inconvenienced. However, you can still see me for the same services at either Carrington St (only 15-20 minutes away) or Kent Town.

If you’d like to contact me or make a booking, you can do so by:

To keep up with Women’s Health news, learn some great tips and share some occasional pelvic health-related humour, then please follow the Life Cycle Physiotherapy Facebook page.

Finally, if you have been happy with the treatment I have provided, please let people know – refer a friend or colleague, tell your GP, tell the world! While I have been working in the Women’s Health field for a long time, my business is still quite new, so word-of-mouth referrals make a big difference.

Many thanks to all of you who have helped me get Life Cycle Physiotherapy off to a great start.

Wishing you good health and happiness,

Jenny Phillips
