I find Pilates is a great form of exercise for women during pregnancy. It targets many key areas such as posture, core control and flexibility, and can be easily modified to suit all levels. Many pregnant women manage to keep practising Pilates right up until their due date.
This video shows 4 of my favourite Pilates exercises for pregnancy. There are some cues included if you want to try these yourself – but remember, always get clearance from your doctor before starting any new exercises in pregnancy.
